HOMEPAGE The solutions from Swissphone Alarm solutions for every application Lone worker protection
As an employer, you are subject to a comprehensive duty of care towards your employees. Lone workers in particular need protection that is as professional as it is comprehensive, with the fastest possible assistance. Protection must also be available, even if the injured person is no longer able to activate a manual alarm?
With a DIN VDE V 0825-11 certified and DGUV/SUVA compliant SOS emergency call system from Swissphone, your staff working alone are universally protected. In addition, you send a reliable signal of the high esteem in which your own employees are held.
The Swissphone solution for working alone includes:
The complete solution from Swissphone contains all the important components for protecting lone workers. Whenever people need to be protected, prevention is of particular importance. Alarm triggering, alarm management, transmission, intervention and follow-up are coordinated and closely linked.
For lone worker protection, either the smartphone app with the lone worker module or various dedicated devices (for example Swissphone TRIO) are used. In addition to the volitional alarm, an emergency situation can also be detected automatically by the device (dead man function, fall). In this way, an alarm is triggered immediately.
In order to avoid false alarms, the sensor settings can be customised to meet specific needs. In addition, an automatically triggered alarm can be manually cancelled at any time within the pre-alarm.
The Watchdog vin s.GUARD monitors the functioning of the lone worker service and alerts the responsible persons if communication is disrupted or fails.
An individual emergency plan can be stored for each lone worker, which takes into account the localities and schedules (office hours, weekends). Who should be contacted in an emergency and through which “channel” is defined in your safety procedures. In addition to first responders and the company ambulance service, an external organisation can also coordinate and manage the operation.
The alarms can be acknowledged by the recipient. If no or too few first responders are available within a predefined period of time, the system automatically escalates and extends the alert to further recipients.
The platform ensures the communication of all common technologies. These include: Telephone, Alarm app (iOS, Android), desktop software for PC and Mac, SMS, e-mail or Pager. In addition to status messages on the status of the transmission (sent, received), feedback (acknowledgement) is also available.
Via automatic telephone conference with the person who triggered the alarm, the first aider can verify whether there is actually an emergency or whether it is a false alarm. If the person involved in the accident does not respond or calls for help, the predefined measures according to your emergency plan can be initiated – such as alerting the company ambulance.
In predefined scenarios, processes and tasks can be sent to specific persons or teams based on freely definable documents and checklists. This enables the responsible persons to plan and coordinate measures efficiently and to deal with emergencies systematically and in an orderly manner. This helps to avoid human errors, which can certainly occur in extraordinary situations due to the excitement and hectic pace.
The chat function provides a modern messenger service for individuals and groups. In this way, information, pictures, videos and documents are exchanged online between the active alarm recipients. This prevents multiple contact attempts and avoids misunderstandings through written communication.
The platform logs alarm triggering and alarm reception of each event in detail and to the second. By analysing the audit-proof log, potential improvements can be made.
Only the optimal interaction of all components generates ideal security. An emergency call system for lone workers consists of various technologies, software functions and hardware components. Swissphone offers a powerful solution for each of these components. All of them together result in a comprehensive, practical and highly efficient emergency call system – from a single source, from a general contractor.
The functions for lone worker protection:
A Swissphone emergency call system for lone workers offers many advantages – in very different areas of application:
Our solutions for working alone are certified according to DIN VDE V 0825-11 and have full compliance with DGUV regulation 112-139.
We provide a wide portfolio of devices compatible with dedicated terminals (TRIO, Twig, Teltonika, etc.) ATEX devices (i.Safe, ecom) Android smartphones and iOS smartphones.
Our lone worker protection solutions are scalable and suitable for small businesses as well as for larger decentralised companies: They rely on central storage of all configuration parameters, a web-based dashboard for management and monitoring of all end devices.
The application can be adapted with a simple configuration for further applications in the alerting area, e.g. ambulance alerting or evacuation . Connection to third-party systems is also easy thanks to flexible interfaces. Our innovative development team is always working on the permanent optimisation and further development of our solution.
Swissphone provides a total solution from the terminal to the software solutions. The reliable operation of the application is ensured in a highly available geo-redundant data centre.
Employers are legally obliged to provide for the safety of lone workers according to the hazardous situation. If the risk assessment permits lone working with continuous and volitional monitoring, a personal emergency call system (PNA) can be used to raise an alarm in an emergency.
The legal basis varies from country to country. In Germany, for example, the DGUV regulation 112-139 is authoritative, in Switzerland the SUVA guidelines concerning persons working alone. The Swissphone emergency call system is certified according to these requirements as a complete system (hardware together with the system) according to DIN VDE 0825-11.
