The administrator and the I-SEARCH user can login at their personal account and configure it via a standard browser running on any LAN-PC (password protected). A POCSAG-pager type and a radio address is associated to every I-SEARCH user. Please note that a pager can receive messages from several I-SEARCH user groups.
Every (authorised) LAN-PC-user can select one or several users on the I-SEARCH server via a standard browser and input a short message into a window for transmission. The I-SEARCH user can deactivate this function temporarily (e.g. if absent). If an I-SEARCH user has the administrator’s authorisation for "GSM-SMS", he can switch between the transmission to his pager and to his GSM-mobile.
I-SEARCH can receive E-mails (i-search user name@i-search.domain), converts the E-mail to a message and transmits it immediately to the I-SEARCH user (paging or SMS).
Every authorised LAN-PC-user can let I-SEARCH periodically poll 1-2 E-mail-accounts on predefined or freely selectable E-mail servers. He can choose among four different display messages.
Every LAN-PC-user has access to the infoboard on the I-SEARCH web-server. The infoboard contains system information and the administrator can also publish other types of information such as company directories or even install a small intra-net.
